Jonnathan Clark has been studying and perfoming as a guitarist for more than 10 years. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico he begun his studies at a young age in the “Conservatorio de Musica del Estado de Mexico” were he studied under the tutelage of various talented mentors before receiving his Associates of Arts in Music Degreee from San Antonio College in Texas and has studied with artists such as Adam Holzman (University of Texas), Dr. Matthew Dunne (U. T. San Antonio), Matthew O’Neil (San Antonio College), Apostolos Paraskebas (Berklee College of Music) and others. Studying with a variety of teachers from different nationalities and traditions has fueled his desire for teaching and sharing the varied and rich tradition of the guitar for the last four years. Jonnathan is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Music Degree in guitar performance from the University of North Texas under Thomas Johnson as well as actively performing, composing and competing in the United States and abroad. Recent Performances include two concerts In Keene Valley New York that featured the premiere of an original composition titled “Three Moods of a Memory” and participation in The Lone Star International guitar competition where he was a semi finalist.
